The task:

• to extend the data centre by another room under condition of  full operation of existing data centre facilities
• to equip the computer rooms by environment monitoring system

Optimal approach:

• enlargement of the data centre by one computer room without causing any impact on the existing part;
• the ensuring of controlled environment by data collection of temperature and humidity parameters from the computer room;
• extension of the infrastructure delivered in 2002;
• development of the cooperation with the client in the field of new ”green” technologies, proposal and delivery of modern and power efficient technologies

Added value of realized concept:

• ALTRON delivered the UPS units and also replaced the genset located on the building’s roof;
• ALTRON added two free-cooling chillers to the existing outdoor cooling units, to make use of chilled air in winter season;
• ALTRON became the active promoter of Green Data Centres and ensured monitoring of all technologies on basis of its own monitoring system PROMON™
