Enlargement of the Škoda Auto’s data centre

Installation site:  Industrial zone Mladá Boleslav

The task:

• to install modular UPS systems and to ensure optimal operation conditions and controlled environment for this technology

Optimal approach:

• the project design of backup power system consisting of UPS units with low energy losses and optimised footprint, minimisation of requirements for air-conditioning system – the dispositions of available room were the main limiting factor;
• elaboration of the proposal for new cabling system and LV distribution switchboards;
• the proposal of complex guarantees of optimal  operational environment including the provision of Critical Facility Management  services

Added value of realized concept:

• ALTRON ensured suitable environment parameters in the UPS room and solved the contractual issues regarding service and maintenance works already in scope of the solution proposal, all accordingly to the internal directives of the client;
• ALTRON installed modular scalable UPS system with external battery for 30 min. and ensures the CFM assistance on weekly basis
