Energy centre of the Municipal House of the Capital city of Prague

Investor:   Municipal House of the Capital city of Prague
Installation site:  Mariánské square 2, Prague 1

The task:

• to deliver a power system - the energy centre - with 2 gensets, each of them  with nominal output power of 650kVA , and with 2 modular UPS systems

Optimal approach:

• the consultation with the Monument preservation office regarding the installation possibilities of  standard technologies in historical district of Prague; discussion about necessary architectonic arrangements for air-ducts, exhaust pipes and the fuel refilling point;
• elaboration of the project, management of all necessary logistic permissions for transportation of oversized loads in the historical city of Prague, including reservation of street  areas during the installation works (crane manipulations necessary for positioning of gensets to the court )

Added value of realized concept:

• ALTRON realized and managed this contract in mode of operative leasing;
• the energy centre consist of two gensets CAT, each with nominal output power of 650kVA, and two modular backup power systems (UPS);
• ALTRON proposed, optimised and balanced the technical solution and its possibilities with very strict requirements of the Monument protection authorities
